VZWPIX.COM – OFFICIAL VZWPIX

In the following posts below I’ll explain everything about using the vzwpix or “My Verizon” account service one by one.

1. Uploading and downloading pictures and video to and from your phone.
2. Upload and download ringtones to and from your phone.

4. Use simple email to upload files like images, videos, messages, music files, and ringtones to your phone.

Before doing any of this, you’ll first have to create a “My Verizon account. Create an account at the link below:

It seems as though this is now merged with the “My Verizon” service. First create an account and in the 4 Posts below you and look and see an explanation for everything that you can use vzwpix for.

You can upload pictures that you have on your phone to the My Verizon account service which kind of works like a “cloud”. This is particularly useful if your phone does not have it’s own photo album option. So sending your photo’s to the “vzwpix” service stores your photos into the “GetPix” part of your online photo album with Verizon.

a) How this works — According to the Verizon website, here’s the instructions:

Compose a picture or video message.
In the To field, enter the following number: 438749 (Get Pix).
Select Send to send the message to the online photo album at PIX Place.

Note: This works for both pictures and video messages and according to their website, your photos and videos do not expire, so you can keep there forever! (This is based on what they say in their FAQ)

2. You can upload ringtones to your verizon account or download ringtones from your Verizon account to your phone. In order to access or create a ” My Verizon ” account and do all this, go to:

(Note – Verizon charges when you purchase ringtones, but this is one good way to do it).

a) Let’s say that you make a ringtone or even buy one from somewhere else. First, create a “My Verizon” account at www.vzwpix.com. Then, go online on your desktop and upload the tones that you want from your phone. After you do that, you can use this service to send the tones from your My Verizon account directly to your phone and Voila! you have the tones you want on your phone.

b) An alternative is to use a third party service that a lot of people use that will give you access to ALL the ringtones that you pretty much want and you pay just one fee of $9.99 per month. In my opinion, something like that is the better deal and easier to do, but it’s up to you.

You can access your “My Verizon” account from your mobile phone – so that in the future you don’t have to do it from your desktop and can do this stuff just directly from your phone wherever you are.

This includes minutes, messages, and all of your account info.

A) want to change your wallpaper and put your own image?
B) want to put your own homemade ringtone on your phone?
C) already bought a ringtone and want to upload it to this particular phone?

All a, b, and c can be accomplished by simply sending an email from your phone to:

(Your Phone Number)@vzwpix.com

For example if my Verizon cell phone number is 2125555555, then I send an email with an attachment of whatever file I want to:

2125555555@vzwpix.com.

*** Now, I’ve got the image, video, or ringtone that I want in my account and it can be easily send to my phone. So I can even go to my desktop and attach a music file(ringtone) and send the email to my account, then from within My Verizon account I can set it as my ringtone or whatever I want to do pretty much. Same thing with images, files, and videos. I read that videos may or may not work on some phones it really depends if you have a mobile phone that supports it but from what I understand, most do.

Go vzwpix! Even better than the iphone

It’s a beautiful Florida evening and I’ve decided to take some time out of my day to write you guys some helpful advice. We’ve become addicted to our devices; our eyes glued to the screen all day long. This is all due to a feature Verizon implemented many years ago called vzwpix.

The idea behind this volutionary service was to give cell phone users the power to send an image from a cell phone to a users computer. Now phones are far more advanced and this concept can be achieved without much trouble at all.

Do you find yourself texting images all day to your friends and family due to ease of the pix messaging service? Well, your not alone in one sense while in another you are.

Break free from vzwpix. Spend more time truly experiencing those things that surround you rather than taking pictures of them.

The trick, if you want to upload your ringtones or pics online from your phone is to use a vzwpix account. You get one from the verizon site. There are also other services out there that can allow you to get multimedia on your phone- there are a number of them out there. If you want to get pix you can go to www.vzwpix.com and you can set up an account there.

1. An alternative is simply to use a service that actually pays licensing fees to get whatever music or ringtones you can find or want on your phone legally.
